Our main focus at Next1Up, Inc. is “Each One, Reach One, Teach One” when making one of the most important decisions of your life. Next1Up Corporation believes this will help support the income of students and families looking to continue education in college by allowing participants to obtain above minimum wage jobs. It also creates a placement for the many people who feel extended or continuing education programs or colleges are not for them.
Empowering career transitions and growth
Approximately 27% of high school graduates are not quite college ready and are in need of structured guidance to help them find a productive, rewarding, and beneficial career path sooner rather than later. Additionally, many young adults have become less than satisfied working a typical 9 to 5 job with little to no growth potential and are looking for a way to reintroduce themselves in the workforce.
Next1Up, Inc. provides participants the jump-start they need to reinvent themselves in the workforce, focusing on Information Technology, Cyber Security, and Project Management career development programs. These programs are geared towards providing them a competitive advantage and the opportunity to potentially become higher wage earners.
Our competitive edge: Industry partnerships and paid training
Our competitive edge lies primarily in our current industry partnerships with several big-name organizations looking for Technology trained and qualified employees. We also have a partnership agreement in place with FEI, LLC (FEI Technology Solutions), a technology consulting firm that manages the administrative, information technology, marketing, and operations of Next1Up, Inc.
FEI, LLC has established an "on the job" paid training initiative to temporarily provide employment to participants who successfully complete our career development track. This contributes to participants gaining a competitive edge, utilizing this job placement initiative as a building block to market their training, skill-sets, and abilities to prospective organizations looking to fill STEM-based vacancies.
